Build process
At Elite we understand that building your dream tiny home is a big decision. That's why we're committed to making the process as smooth and informative as possible. We care greatly about our clients and want you to feel confident and excited every step of the way.
Step 1: Explore and Connect
We welcome you to visit our workshop at 1256 State Highway 16, Waimauku, Auckland and see our tiny homes first-hand! This is a great opportunity to get a feel for the quality and craftsmanship that goes into each build. You can also connect with us virtually or by phone to discuss your vision and we’ll answer any questions you may have about building with us.
During this initial stage, we'll share information on:
Available build times: We'll provide a realistic timeline based on your chosen design and current project volume. The lead time falls within a range of 6-8 weeks.
Customisation options: While we specialise in pre-designed tiny homes, we're open to exploring customisation possibilities. If you have existing drawings or a snazzy vision board, feel free to share them with us.
Important Note: Customisations may require additional costs due to the need for adjustments to the base design. We'll discuss these potential costs openly and transparently throughout the process.
Step 2: Ready to build? Securing your spot
Once you've explored our designs and feel confident moving forward, you can reserve your ‘build spot’ with a non-refundable deposit of $10,000. This deposit secures your place in our production schedule. At this stage in the process a contract is written up outlining the specifications and pricing based on your selections. With the signed contract in hand and further 50% deposit of the overall cost, we'll immediately pre-order all necessary components, ensuring a smooth and efficient build process.
Step 3: The construction phase
As your tiny home embarks on its physical journey, we extend a warm invitation to visit our workshop and witness its progress first-hand! Simply coordinate a viewing date with Dan or Sally at least 48 hours in advance please. We understand that preferences may evolve during the building process. While significant changes after material pre-ordering might be challenging, we're happy to discuss minor adjustments to ensure your tiny home reflects your vision.
We believe in building strong partnerships with our clients. By working together and understanding your vision, we can create a tiny house that perfectly reflects your unique style and needs.
We look forward to partnering with you!
