    Inspired by Japanese aesthetics, sleek black accents and warm wood tones create a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere.

    The home features a mono-pitched roof, double loft layout, full kitchen, Macrocarpa pull-out table, and an additional outdoor hot water shower. It offers 24 square meters of total living space within a compact 7 meter x 2.5 meter footprint and a comfortable 4.2-meter height.

    Weighing 3.5 tons, August is perfectly sized for easy relocation, much like a boat or caravan, and is road legal for towing.

    • Kitchen

    Sleek Brown Forest engineered stone benchtop, black cabinetry, single-bowl sink, brushed rose gold mixer, pull-out pantry, and awning window. A custom Macrocarpa pull-out table for casual dining or meal prep. Appliances include a 4-burner gas hob, full-sized electric oven, range hood, washing machine, and fridge freezer.

    • Lounge

    French doors and a part-opening awning window on the far wall. Please note, the louvered window by the stairs has been discontinued. We offer great alternatives such as tall fixed windows or tall part-opening windows, all double-glazed and perfect for our climate.

    • Double Loft Bedrooms

    Master loft: Relax in the carpeted master loft bedroom with two windows that provide a refreshing cross breeze. It features custom storage and 2x dual power outlets with USB ports to keep your devices charged. The loft is accessed via the main stairs, which cleverly double as storage. The loft measures 2.4 meters wide, 2.8 meters deep, and 1.4 meters high. A convenient platform for getting ready for the day stands at 1.8 meters.

    Single loft: A flexible space for sleeping or storage. It measures 2.4 meters wide, 1.2 meters deep, and 1.4 meters high. Accessed by a sturdy ladder that can be stored away when not in use.

    • Bathroom

    The bathroom features a large 900mm square shower, frosted window, basin with black tap, extractor fan, towel rail, and a mirror cabinet with storage. It is neatly closed off by a barn-style sliding door. The toilet system is selected and purchased by the client, and we are happy to guide you through this process.

    • Exterior

    A striking blend of twice-oiled Fijian mahogany and sleek Ebony cladding. The mono-pitched roof lends a contemporary, minimalist aesthetic to the home. Enjoy the convenience of an outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off after a day of adventure. The Califont attached to the home provides instant hot water.

    • Lighting

      All lights throughout August are energy-efficient LEDs, ensuring a bright and comfortable atmosphere while minimising your environmental impact. The home features recessed lighting throughout, with dimmer functionality, and a pendant light in the lounge area.

    • Hidden Storage Solutions

      Never run out of space with the clever under-stair storage units strategically integrated into the staircase leading to the Master loft.

    • Flooring

      Dark Gray SPC 100% waterproof laminate flooring on the ground level, offering durability, easy maintenance, and suitability for a busy tiny home lifestyle. Plush Gray carpet flooring is featured in both the Master and Single lofts.

    • Insulation

      Fully insulated walls, floor, and ceiling with double-glazed windows and doors. The thermal resistance rating in the walls and ceiling is R2.2 (Earthwork brand), and the underfloor insulation is Expol R1.4. All windows are black, double-glazed, and filled with argon gas, with NZ certification.

    • Trailer

      Built on a custom double-axle galvanised trailer by SteelMech Engineering, featuring electric brakes, a removable drawbar, a 3-year WOF, current Rego, and a 5-year warranty period. Weighing 3.5 tons, August is perfectly sized for easy relocation and road-legal towing, much like a caravan or boat!

      Pick colours and styles for the flooring, countertop, sink, knobs and faucets from our base range options. Should you wish to upgrade, this may come at an additional cost. If you'd like to change the wall colour from the Okoume plywood (for example, to white or a different colour), we can provide you with a cost estimate. Chat with our team for more information.

      Water tank, water tank connections, pump & fittings, water treatment unit, gutter & down-pipe x1, caravan plug extension cord, gas bottles x2, heavy-duty jack stands x5, entrance steps, building site prep, levelling the home, toilet system, and transport. Staging items such as bar stools & lampshade are not included in the purchase.
