    Meet Maui Lux: featuring one sleeping loft – sleeps 2. We’ve taken our beloved ‘Maui’ design (now discontinued) and elevated it into the Scandinavian masterpiece you see today. Maui Lux is loaded with a range of luxurious features; herringbone flooring, skylight, Macrocarpa shelving, pull-out storage in the stairs, sliding kitchen window, custom cabinetry and extra large statement windows in the lounge.  

    Note: Maui Lux offers a significantly larger bathroom space than our other 7-meter design, the August, and incorporates the laundry space in this area.

    The home offers 24m² of total living space within a 7m long x 2.5m wide footprint and a comfortable 4.2m height (including trailer). At 3.5 tonnes, Maui Lux is road-legal for towing and can be transported much like a caravan or boat.

    • Kitchen

    Sleek Polar white engineered stone benchtop, white modern cabinetry, large sink, brushed copper coloured mixer, pull-out pantry, and an practical sliding window. Appliances include a 2-burner induction hob, electric oven, intergraded range hood and a fridge-freezer. Please note that additional charges apply should you wish to upgrade the hobs or oven to gas.

    • Lounge

    The entrance is graced with French doors, opening into a bright, white interior accented by Macrocarpa shelving & a stunning Macrocarpa ceiling truss. A high-fixed raked window and large awning window on the short, right wall flood the space with natural light, while a perfectly placed fixed window at the bottom of the staircase immediately captures your attention.

    • Bedroom

    The loft bedroom is accessed via the staircase that cleverly doubles as storage with pull-out draws, leading to a 1.6m standing platform that makes morning routines easy. It measures 2.4m wide by 2.8m deep & 1.4m tall at the highest point of the gable (not standing height). 

    The space is framed by Macrocarpa slats with a playful ‘peek-a-boo’ gap that maintains a sense of openness and flow. The loft accommodates a Queen bed and features built-in storage cubbies alongside a dedicated hanging space for longer garments. This carpeted sanctuary is complete with an opening skylight and two windows to capture a natural cross-breeze. For modern convenience, dual power outlets with integrated USB-C ports are perfectly positioned on either side of the bed space.

    • Bathroom

    Featuring a spacious square shower beautifully finished in green tiles, paired with a matching green tiled splashback. Textured river-stone basin accented by elegant brushed copper coloured fixtures. LED mirror, frosted window, extractor fan, storage, heated towel rail and a washing machine – yes the washing machine is included! To ensure the best fit for your needs, the toilet system is selected and purchased by the client. Note: The mirror on the sliding door is an optional upgrade.

    • Exterior

    A stunning exterior defined by Western Cedar timber contrasting with Ebony (Black) steel cladding. An utterly adorable gable-pitch roof for those ‘tiny home vibes’ we all know and love. Two outdoor lights, outdoor power point, outdoor shower & caravan plug. The attached gas Califont system ensures instant hot water throughout the home. A paint finish for the califont unit is available upon request for an additional fee.

    • Lighting

      All lights throughout are energy-efficient LEDs, ensuring a bright and comfortable atmosphere. The home features recessed lighting throughout, with dimmer functionality, and a pendant light in the lounge area. Two strategically placed exterior lights illuminate the home. They are positioned to provide ample clearance for a future pergola, allowing you to easily extend your outdoor living space later without the need for rewiring.

    • Hidden Storage Solutions

      Every inch of this home works for you. We’ve strategically built storage into the staircase, including clever pull-out systems in the first and third steps.

    • Flooring

      Classic Scani inspired Herringbone SPC 100% waterproof laminate flooring on the ground level, offering durability, easy maintenance, and suitability for a busy tiny home lifestyle. Plush carpeting featured in the bedroom.

    • Insulation

      Fully insulated walls, floor, and ceiling with double-glazed windows and doors. The thermal resistance rating in the walls and ceiling is R2.2 (Earthwork brand), and the underfloor insulation is Expol R1.4. All windows are black, double-glazed, and filled with argon gas, with NZ certification.

    • Trailer

      Built on a custom double-axle galvanised trailer by SteelMech Engineering, featuring electric brakes, a removable drawbar, a 3-year WOF, current Rego, and a 5-year warranty period. Weighing 3.5 tonnes, Maui Lux is perfectly sized for easy relocation and road-legal towing, much like a caravan or boat!

    • Trusted Professionals

      Certified electrical, gas, and plumbing with accompanying safety certificates. 3-year Elite workmanship structural warranty and full material warranties, ensuring your investment is protected.

    • Appliances

      Maui Lux comes with a full-sized electric oven, 2-burner induction hob, integrated range hood, washing machine, and fridge-freezer.

    • Add-Ons

      Heat pump, fireplace, dishwasher, additional windows & doors, or upgrades to the size of existing. Additional storage, shelves & fold-down tables.     • Personalise Your Tiny Haven

      Pick colours and styles for the flooring, countertop, sink, knobs and faucets from our base range options. Should you wish to upgrade, this may come at an additional cost.     • Not Included In The Base Price

      Water tank, water tank connections, pump & fittings, gutter & down-pipe x1 set, caravan plug extension cord, gas bottles, heavy-duty jack stands, entrance steps, building site prep, levelling the home, toilet system, and transport. Staging items are not included in the purchase.
